Limited Seats Remain for Topeka Roundball Event

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas alumni and fans in the Topeka area still have an opportunity to be a part of the Kansas Basketball Roundball Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at the Ramada Inn in Topeka, Kan. The event is hosted by Kansas Athletics and the Williams Education Fund and features KU basketball coaches Bonnie Henrickson and Bill Self.

The cost of the event is $20 per person and includes lunch. Some walk-ups will be allowed, but space is limited, so make a reservation by Monday, Nov. 5.

The Kansas Basketball Roundball events officially begin Friday at the Marriott in Wichita, Kan. Following the luncheon in Topeka, another event will be held at the Kansas City Marriott Downtown on Monday, Dec. 3. A dinner with Coach Self will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Maceli’s, in Lawrence, while lunch with Coach Henrickson is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16, in the Crystal Ballroom at the Eldridge Hotel in Lawrence.

Originally founded as the Outland Club in 1949 by Dick, Skipper and Odd Williams, the Williams Education Fund is the official fundraising department for Kansas Athletics.
