Kansas Leads Nebraska 48-24 at Half

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Sophomore quarterback Todd Reesing threw four first half touchdown passes, while senior fullback Brandon McAnderson ran for three TDs as No. 8 Kansas leads Nebraska 48-24 at halftime Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence.

Following its opening drive, Kansas scored on seven straight possessions. Kansas’ 48 points are the most in a half since KU scored 49 against Toledo in the first half.

Reesing has spread the ball around to seven different receivers, including four different receivers for touchdowns. Senior Marcus Henry leads the way with four catches for 75 yards and one TD.

KU’s ground game gained 106 yards in the first half, including 48 yards on 13 carries by McAnderson.
