-Kansas recorded its 34th straight exhibition victory and 31st consecutive home exhibition victory… KU is now 52-7 all-time in exhibition games… KU improved to 45-4 in exhibition games in Allen Fieldhouse… KU improved to 20-0 in exhibition games under Bill Self… KU is now 7-0 against Fort Hays State (4-0 in exhibition contests).

-Kansas used the starting lineup of Tyrel Reed, Xavier Henry, Markieff Morris, Cole Aldrich and Sherron Collins. The game was Henry’s first start.

-Nine of 10 players made their first shot. The exception was Collins, who later made three straight three-pointers. Jordan Juenemann scored what would have been his first career points scored.

-KU went on a 22-4 run to end the first half and begin the second half, which included a 12-0 run to start the second half.

-Kansas scored 107 points in the game. KU scored 100-plus one time last season against New Mexico State on Dec. 3.

-Collins led KU in scoring with 19 points while five other players scored in double figures, including Tyshawn Taylor (15), Xavier Henry (14), Cole Aldrich (13), Markieff Morris (12) and Marcus Morris (10). The last time six Kansas players scored in double figures was against Texas Tech on March 3, 2008.

-Aldrich led the Jayhawks with 13 rebounds. He would have recorded his 23rd career double-double.

-All 10 of the Jayhawks who saw playing time made contributions in the points column.

-Kansas has scored in the 90s or more against the Tigers in all but one of the meetings.

-Kansas scored 22 fastbreak points, compared to Fort Hays State’s six.

-The last time Kansas tallied 10 blocks as a team was last season against Washington on Nov. 24, 2008.
