Rowing to Finish Season at the Head of the Hooch in Tennessee

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Kansas rowing will conclude its fall season this weekend when it competes in the two-day Head of the Hooch regatta in Chattanooga, Tenn.

On Saturday, Nov. 7, Kansas will enter two boats in the Novice Eight race and three boats in the Varsity Eight in the morning session. In the afternoon, Kansas will enter two boats each in the Novice Four and Varsity Four races as well as multiple entries in the Championship Double category.

Sunday, Nov. 8, will feature single boat races early in the morning. The day will conclude when Kansas enters three boats in each the Open Eight competition and the Open 4x.

The team will have four months before its next official competition when it travels to Oklahoma City, Okla., for the Oklahoma Invitational March 11-13.
