Kansas Rowing to Travel to the Head of the Hooch

The Kansas Rowing team will travel to the Head of the Hooch, Saturday (Nov. 6) for a two-day event. Kansas will enter ten boats in the Championship Single race, four boats in the Championship Double race, and one boat in the Championship Eight and the Championship Four races.

At the regatta, Kansas will compete against many teams including Texas, Duke, North Carolina and Miami (Fla.).

Kansas competed at the Head of the Iowa, last weekend (Oct. 31), where Senior Erin Hennessey placed first place in the Open Single race at 16:57.33, followed by Junior Kris Lazar in third. Kansas also placed third in the Open Four race with a time of 15:47.14.
