Best thing about playing soccer at KU:

Definitely the team, everyone is like a family and it makes everything worth it.

I chose KU because:

The team is the most important part. I love them all so much. The campus is beautiful, and it’s close enough so my parents can come to my games.

Favorite male soccer player:

David Beckham

Favorite female soccer player:

Michelle Rasmussen

Team other then the USA you cheered for during the World Cup:

There was a few but England and Brazil mainly.

Best soccer player ever faced:

Nicki Lukin, Ottawa University. We played on the same team since we were 5 years old.

Pregame ritual:

Listening to music with lots of dancing and craziness.

Favorite TV show:

`Grey’s Anatomy’, `Take Home Chef’, TLC’s `Untold Stories of the ER’, `The OC and `Friends’.

Favorite movie:

`Wedding Crashers’, `Dirty Dancing’, `Crash’ and `Italian Job’.

Greatest college soccer memory:

Playing the Canadian National team this spring.

Favorite place to eat in Lawrence:

Longhorn when my parents are in town.

Not many people know this about me:

I’m curious about everything: I like to see how things works and are put together from the mind, to the body, to inventions; anything I can get my hands on.

Outside of soccer, my greatest talent is:

I have a natural ability to work with children. I also enjoy observing the world around me through the camera’s eye.

After college I plan on:

Maybe graduate school then getting a job and enjoying life to it’s fullest.

Thing I’m going to miss most about KU soccer:
Besides dancing in the locker room, I will miss the team. They are absolutely amazing; they’re my best friends. I’ll miss seeing them everyday. I’ll miss traveling with the team, we always have a great time and we’ve been fortunate to travel to some really great places. I’ll miss my parents cheering me on, even if I can’t see you guys there, I can hear ya! 🙂 I will miss the competitiveness and doing the Rock, Chalk chant before every game, it has been an honor to be a Jayhawk.
