— Kansas used a starting lineup of Jamie Boyd, Ivana Catic, Taylor McIntosh, Sade Morris and Shaquina Mosley for the second straight game. Freshman LaChelda Jacobs started in place of Catic to begin the second half.
— Kansas gathered 14 offensive rebounds, converting them into 12 second-chance points.
— Kansas forced 26 Washburn turnovers, converting them into 15 points
— Kansas extended its winning streak in exhibition games to four. They have now won 20 of their last 22 exhibition contests.
— The Jayhawks outscored Washburn 34 to 16 in the paint.
— Kansas held the Lady Blues without a field goal in the second half for 5:45, spanning from the 11:47 mark to the 6:02 mark.
— Kansas junior Jamie Boyd scored six points and would have tied a career-high in a regular season game.
— For the second-consecutive game multiple Kansas freshmen scored in double figures. Freshman Danielle McCray led the way with 15 points and LaChelda Jacobs added 10 points.
