Quinn, a senior goalkeeper from Fort Collins, Colo., was named the conference’s defensive player of the week for the third week in a row. She is the first KU soccer player to be on the conference’s honor roll for three straight weeks. Over the final nine matches of the regular season, Quinn posted an 0.85 goals against average, an .869 save percentage and three shutouts.

Williams, a freshman defender from Houston, Texas, earned newcomer of the week honors for the first time in her career. She is the second KU player to be named newcomer of the week, joining fellow freshman Kaitlyn Cunningham, who garnered the distinction on Oct. 9. Williams scored a pair of goals in KU’s triumph over No. 18 Missouri, including the game-winner last Friday.

Kansas (7-9-4, 5-2-3 Big 12) will play Oklahoma State on Wednesday in the first round of the Big 12 Soccer Championships at 7:30 p.m. in San Antonio.
