Kansas Rowing to Finish Fall Season at Head of the Hooch

LAWRENCE, Kan.—Kansas rowing will complete the fall season on Saturday Nov. 7 and Sunday Nov. 8 as the Jayhawks travel to Chattanooga, Tenn., for the annual Head of the Hooch regatta on the Tennessee River. Kansas will compete in the Women’s Championship Eight, Women’s Championship Double, Women’s Championship Four, Women’s Championship Single, Women’s LtWt Single, Women’s Novice Single and Women’s Open 4x.

The Jayhawks last competed in the Head of the Hooch in November of 2007. Kansas won the Lightweight Four and current senior Katie Beall placed second in the Novice Single that year.

Kansas will compete again Mar. 27, 2010 when the Jayhawks head south to Austin, Texas to open the spring season against Texas.
