Kansas-Iowa State Garners 6 p.m. Kickoff on FSN

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will celebrate Senior Day under the lights at Memorial Stadium as the Jayhawks’ final home game on Saturday, Nov. 17, against Iowa State, is slated for a 6 p.m., kickoff time. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net, the Big 12 announced Monday.

The game with Iowa State will mark the sixth-straight week that the Jayhawks have appeared on FSN and the seventh time total in 2012. KU also faced Rice, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas and Baylor in games seen on FSN and will play Texas Tech as part of the network’s national triple-header this weekend.

Kansas is hosting the Cyclones for the first time since the 2009 season, when KU claimed a 41-36 triumph for Homecoming. The Jayhawks are 49-36-6 all-time against Iowa State, including 27-16-3 in games played in Lawrence. KU is 9-7 against ISU as members of the Big 12 Conference.

Prior to kick off against Iowa State, the Jayhawks will honor their 23-member senior class with a ceremony on the field.

The Jayhawks will be looking for their first conference victory of the season Saturday when they travel to Texas Tech at 11 a.m. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Net and can be heard on the Jayhawk Radio Network as well as online, on AT&T Jayhawk All-Access.
