KU vs. ISU Scheduled for Nov. 26

Nov. 11, 2005

A reminder to Jayhawk fans — In order to televise the Iowa State vs. Kansas football game (originally scheduled for Nov. 19), the contest was moved to November 26, Big 12 Conference officials announced in mid-June. FoxSports Net will broadcast the game live from Memorial Stadium in Lawrence. Kickoff against the Cyclones is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.

“The Big 12 Conference and FoxSports approached both schools and asked us to move the game so it could be broadcast on television,” said Kansas Senior Associate Athletics Director, Larry Keating. “We see this as a great opportunity to get additional exposure for our football program.”

Kansas Athletics is offering a two-for-one ticket special for the game. For just $45, fans can receive two general admission tickets to the contest against ISU. In addition, students who attend the game vs. the Cyclones may bring a guest for free.
