LAWRENCE, Kan. –

Q: If you could play any sports besides basketball, what sport would it be and why?

A: “I would probably play football because I always wanted to be a wide receiver and jump up there and catch the football. As a kid growing up, I use to play football with my friends outside and it was always a sport I wanted to play.”

Q: If you could have any actor play you in a movie who would it be?

A: “I would have Denzel Washington play me in a movie because he is such a great actor and all of the ladies love Denzel.”

Q: What is your favorite activity to do when you are not playing basketball?

A: “My favorite activity to do when I’m not playing basketball is to listen to music.”

Q: Since both of your brothers have played collegiately and professionally, which brother do you think you could beat playing a game of one-one-one?

A: “Well I have beaten my second oldest brother (Kevin Langford) in a game of one-on-one, but I still haven’t beaten my oldest brother (Keith Langford) yet.”

Q: If you could play any role on the TV show ‘Everybody Hates Chris,’ which character would you play?

A: “The character I would play in ‘Everybody Hates Chris’ would be Chris because he is funny just like me.”

Q: If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

A: “I would have to choose Italy because it is such a beautiful country.”

Q: What is the best present you’ve ever given a family or friend for a birthday or holiday?

A: “I would say the best present I have ever given my family would be a hug and kiss that I give to my mom.”

Q: What does being a Jayhawk mean to you?

A: “It means a lot to me because my brother (Keith Langford) played at KU. There is so much tradition that goes along with being a Jayhawk as well as a collegiate athlete at KU and it is a great feeling.”

Q: What is your favorite shot on the court?

A: “My favorite shot on the court is a dunk because it gets the crowd and your teammates into the game. When you go up for a dunk, it makes you feel really good when your get everyone involved and excited.”

Q: What was the best advice you were ever given?

A: “The best advice I was ever given was to always be yourself.”

Q: Where do your draw your inspiration from?

A: “I draw my inspiration from my family, they have always told me to work hard and to keep pushing no matter what.”

Q: What would be you ultimate achievement?

A: “Graduating and walking down the hill would be my ultimate achievement.”

Q: What is your dream job?

A: “My dream job would be playing basketball professionally like my older brothers Keith and Kevin.”

Q: What most impresses you about Coach Self?

A: “He is so complex when it comes to the game and really pays attention to detail and to the little things. He never overlooks any minor detail to the game. Everything is important and everything counts and I really like that about him.”

Q: Do you have any favorite pre-competition meals?

A: “I cannot really pinpoint one meal that I like over the other because I like food in general, but I would say I do enjoy when we have shrimp for our pre-competition meals.”
