KU’s Win:
–Marked the sixth-straight regular season non-conference win for Kansas, including five-straight at home.
–Gave KU its ninth-consecutive win over Creighton.
–Improved the Jayhawks to 2-0 for the 2011-12 season.
–Moved Kansas head coach Bonnie Henrickson to 119-108 in her seven years at KU and 277-170 overall.
–Enhanced Kansas’ record against Creighton to 23-12 with a 9-1 mark under Henrickson.
–Marked the Jayhawks’ 306th victory over a non-conference opponent, making KU 306-145.
–Gave Kansas an all-time record of 716-506.

Team Notes:
–KU used the starting lineup of Angel Goodrich, Aishah Sutherland, Monica Engelman, Carolyn Davis and Natalie Knight.
— In her first game this season, Davis recorded 14 points and three rebounds in 18 minutes.
–For the second-straight game, Angel Goodrich led the Jayhawks in first-half scoring, going 3-for-5 from the floor for eight points. The junior finished with 12 points and five assists for the game.
–Aishah Sutherland’s 14 rebounds led the Jayhawks and tied a career-high. The senior also led Kansas in scoring with 16 points to give Sutherland the 12th double-double of her career.
–Junior Monica Engelman scored 12 points off of 3-of-8 shooting. Engelman was 5-of-5 from the free throw line including three free throws after being fouled on a three-pointer in the second half.
— Sutherland (16), Davis (14), Engelman (12) and Goodrich (12) all scored in double figures for Kansas.
–After only scoring eight points against Western Michigan in the season opener, the Kansas bench accounted for 17 of the Jayhawks’ 73 points.
–KU outscored Creighton 38-28 in the paint while also out-rebounding the Bluejays, 40-29.
