Team Notes

-Kansas has started the season 2-0 for four straight seasons. The last time they suffered a loss in their second game of the season was during the 2006-07 season.

-KU is now 1-0 all-time Vs TAMCC.

-Bonnie Henrickson is now 256-157 over-all as a collegiate head coach and 98-95 at Kansas.

-KU has won four straight games at Allen Fieldhouse dating back to last season’s win over Prairie View A&M in the opening round of the WNIT.

-Kansas scored their first points of the game just five seconds into the contest.

-KU has won nine of their last 10 non-conference games.

-44 points was the lowest Kansas has held an opponent to since December 10, 2008 against Western Illinois who scored 43 in a 66-43 loss.

-The 41-point margin of victory was the largest for the Jayhawks since their 42-point victory against New Mexico State on January 4, 2009 at Allen Fieldhouse, 91-49.

Player Notes

-Kansas used the starting line-up of Angel Goodrich, Monica Engelman, Carolyn Davis, Aishah Sutherland and Marisha Brown in both halves.

-Carolyn Davis scored 12 of the Jayhawks first 14 points of the game.

-Davis reached double digits in scoring less than five minutes into the first half.

-Davis made her first eight shots of the game.

-Angel Goodrich had a career high five steals surpassing her previous best of three.

-Aishah Sutherland recorded her first double-double of the season and the seventh of her career.

-Krysten Boogaard finished the game with eight points, putting her at 902 for her career. She needs 98 more points to become the22nd player in Kansas history with 1,000 points in their career.

-Marisha Brown tied her career high in points with eight.

-CeCe Harper and Keena Mays both netted their first career three pointers.

-Harper had a career high six points surpassing her previous best of two.

-Mays also had a career high in points with her game total of seven. Her previous best was five.
