— Kansas’ win over Iowa … Makes Kansas 2-0 for the second-straight season … Marks the Jayhawks’ first win while playing on ESPN and improving KU’s mark on the network to 1-1 … Makes Kansas 3-2 all-time versus Iowa. Game Notes:

— Kansas went on a 10-0 run spanning 1:42 late in the first half to push its first-half lead to its largest advantage of eight in the first stanza.

— After being shutout in the first half, junior Sade Morris scored eight straight points for the Jayhawks early in the second half. She finished with 17 points.

— Junior LaChelda Jacobs tied both her career high in points (18) and assists (six). Her 18-point mark has been matched twice, most recently on Jan. 6, 2007 against Baylor. Her six-assist output has also been achieved twice previously with her most recent effort coming in the last game of the 2007-08 season at Michigan St. on March 27.

— The Jayhawks 76 point output is the most points the Jayhawks have scored against a Big 10 team since they scored 90 points against Wisconsin on Dec. 11, 2005, a game that went into double-overtime.

— The Jayhawks are now 21-4 under head coach Bonnie Henrickson when they score between 70-79 points.

— Junior Danielle McCray recorded 15 points for the Jayhawks. She has now scored in double-digits in the Jayhawks’ last five games. She has recorded 43 double-digit performances in her career.

— Junior Porscha Weddington pulled down eight rebounds and now has 15 rebounds over the first two games of the year. She has posted 12 games in her Jayhawk career of five or more rebounds.

— Kansas forced 23 turnovers and converted them into 24 points. The Jayhawks turned the ball over themselves just 12 times.

–Sophomore Krysten Boogaard tied a career-high with two steals. Her last two-steal performance came Feb. 2, 2008, against Iowa St.

— Megan Skouby’s 33 points today were the most points scored in a single-game against Kansas since Jan. 6, 2001 when Sheila Lambert of Baylor scored 37 points against the Jayhawks.
