Jayhawks Ink Clay LeBrec in Early Signing Period

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The Kansas men’s golf program announced Friday that it has signed Clay LaBrec from Westminster, Colo. to a letter of intent in the early signing period.

“We are excited to have Clay join the Jayhawk family,” said head coach Kit Grove. “His strong work ethic and dedication will add a strong attribute to our program. We expect Clay to have an immediate impact.”

LaBrec, who hails from Mountain View High School, was named first team all-conference in all four years of his high school career.

He recently has won both the 2009 FCWT University of New Mexico Challenge and the 2009 Colorado-Wyoming Optimist State Championship.
