Team Notes

–Kansas used the starting lineup of Angel Goodrich, Monica Engelman, Natalie Knight, Carolyn Davis and Aishah Sutherland for the second-straight game.

–The Jayhawks finished 13-for-13 from the free throw line in the first half. For the game, KU shot 77.3 percent (17-for-22).

–Junior Angel Goodrich collected a career-high seven steals at Wake Forest. She passes her old record of five, which she recorded four times, most recently versus Western Michigan on Nov. 13, 2011.

–Goodrich also dished six assists and has five or more assists in 16 games dating back to last season. The point guard also pulled down a season-high six rebounds.

–Sophomore Tania Jackson scored in double figures for the seventh time in her career and second this season as the forward turned in 15 points and was one rebound shy of a double-double with nine boards. She collected her points on a career-best six field goals.

–Jackson also blocked four shots versus the Demon Deacons, setting a career best. She has had one block in six games with the last time coming versus Baylor on March 9, 2011.

–Junior Monica Engelman hit five of her six shots from the free throw line. She has gone 15-for-17 from the charity stripe this season.

–Sophomore Keena Mays hit the game-winning shot for Kansas with five seconds left on the clock.

–Junior Carolyn Davis scored a team-high 21 points for her 20th career game with 20-plus tallies.
