Position Title: Graduate Assistant

Starting Date: June 1, 2010

Appointment: One year that is renewable for 1 additional year

Salary: Tuition, books, fees and monthly stipend

Duties: Responsible for assisting the strength and conditioning staff in the daily duties required of a strength and conditioning program; developing and implementing injury prevention, strength, speed, agility, work capacity, and mobility development programs for all teams assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Sports Performance.

Qualifications:

Required: Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution, CSCS certification, CPR certification, at least one full year of experience in the area of collegiate strength and conditioning, previous programming experience, and admission into the University of Kansas School of Health, Sport, and Exercise Science graduate program prior to employment.

Note: Deadline for application to graduate school is June 30, 2010.

Preferred: USAW certification, NASE certification, or USATF certifications.
