Notes

–Senior guard Sherron Collins finished with seven assists on the night, making him the 13th player in Kansas history to have 400 or more assists. Collins’ 406 assists follow Mario Chalmers, who is 12th on the list with 420.

–Sophomore forward Marcus Morris recorded a career-high 19 points. His previous career-high was 15 against Kansas State on Feb. 14, 2009. Morris also registered the third double-double of his career with 11 rebounds.

–Freshman guard Elijah Johnson tied his career-high with eight points. Johnson also scored eight against Hofstra on Nov. 13.

–The Jayhawks held Oakland to 33.3 percent shooting for the game, and have held 78-straight opponents to under 50 percent shooting.

–In the first four games of his college career, freshman guard Xavier Henry is shooting 54.8 percent overall and 55.6 percent from behind the arc.

–As a team, Kansas is shooting a total of 51.3 percent from the field and 45.8 percent from behind the arc.

–The six turnovers KU committed in the game was the fewest since turning the ball over five times against North Dakota State on March 20, 2009.
