FAU head coach Chancellor Dugan
On her team’s play:
“I don’t think we had a lot of intensity out there today. I felt like we sat back and let the game come to us instead of getting out there and being intense and focused on what we needed to do. I thought our body language out there just wasn’t good. We are better than how we played today and that is why it is frustrating. IUPUI did a great job. They ran some good sets against us, but we weren’t intense on defense and I think that is what I was most upset with.”

IUPUI head coach Austin Parkinson
On his team’s victory:
“I thought, for the first time all year, I saw very good leadership. They (FAU) made a couple runs and we were able to fight through that.”

On freshman forward Nevena Markovic’s play:
“She is being physical and when she is physical she is a good player. So I think for us, when Nev plays like that we are a very difficult team to guard.”

On the play of sophomore guard Del’Niqua Bellamy:
“You can’t measure what she does because, defensively, she creates havoc. Offensively, you have to be aware of where she is on the floor. Defensively, she really got after it today and she makes those plays. We need somebody to take that (on) role and she has really embraced it.”
