Lamar head coach Larry Tidwell
Opening Statement:
“I thought we had a nice bounce-back. We had some kids that really stepped up. We’re still making a lot of unforced errors. We have to get better, but we’ll take the win anytime we can get it.”

On the team’s overall performance:
“Kalis Loyd (stepped up.) She got a little bit tired, and I should have probably rested her a little bit more. We got a lot of help from our bench from Gia Ayers. Shauna Long played well. Ria (Pateraki) played well. Taylor Hays played really well and Jasmin Henderson as well. You have to like what we’re doing. We won the battle on the boards, which is huge. We were pretty good at the free throw line. We attacked pretty well so we’ll get better off this.”
