Toys for Tots Partners with Kansas Basketball

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas fans can receive two free tickets to an upcoming men’s and women’s basketball game by donating to Toys for Tots this holiday season.

From December 13-17 fans can donate an unopened toy at the Booth Family Hall of Athletics between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and receive a voucher for two free tickets to an upcoming men’s and women’s basketball game.

Fans will have the opportunity to choose between the USC, UT-Arlington and UMKC men’s games (limit two tickets per person while supplies last). The voucher is also good for two tickets to the December 19 women’s basketball game vs. SIU Edwardsville.

After donating their toy fans can present their ticket voucher and claim their tickets at the ticket window located on the southeast corner of Allen Fieldhouse.

The Toys for Tots toy drop is in the Booth Family Hall of Athletics located on the east side of Allen Fieldhouse.

In addition, fans can receive free admission to the December 12 women’s basketball game vs. Alabama when they present a toy at the Allen Fieldhouse ticket window.

During the December 18 men’s home game vs. USC, U.S. Marines will be at the entrances of Allen Fieldhouse collecting new, unopened toys and donations for the Douglas County Chapter of Toys for Tots.

Men’s Tickets on-sale December 6

Reserved and General Admission tickets for upcoming Kansas Men’s Basketball games will go on sale to the general public Monday, December 6.

The games included in the December 6 on-sale date are USC, UT-Arlington, Miami (OH), UMKC, Nebraska and Texas.

The USC game on December 18 will be the debut of freshman Josh Selby. Kansas opens Big 12 play on Saturday, January 15, against Nebraska. Big 12 rival Texas visits Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday, January 22.

Reserved tickets for USC and Nebraska $75, and general admission tickets are $50. A $119 Family 4-Pack is also available for USC and Nebraska. The Texas game is $90 for a reserved ticket and $75 for GA.

Nonconference games against UT-Arlington, Miami (OH) and UMKC are $50 for reserved tickets, $35 for general admission and $99 for the Family 4-Pack.

If available, tickets to remaining home games against Missouri, Iowa State, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M will go on sale to the general public January 24.

Williams Educational Fund members can purchase tickets to any home game right now and do not need to wait for the general public on-sale dates. Williams Fund Members can purchase tickets by contacting the ticket office at 800-34-HAWKS.

The January 29 game against Kansas State is sold-out.
