Kansas’ loss at Alabama:
— Gave KU its first loss of the 2011-12 season.
— Ended Kansas’ 11 game regular-season non-conference win streak.
— Evened the all-time series record versus Alabama at 1-1.
— Made Henrickson 2-1 versus Alabama, 124-109 at Kansas and 282-171 overall.
— Made Kansas 721-507 all time.

Team Notes
— For the first time this season, Kansas faced a halftime deficit, trailing 43-33 after the first 20 minutes.
— The Jayhawks hit a season-high six three-point field goals, topping their previous high of four achieved twice this year with the last time versus SMU on Dec. 1.
— Alabama shot 45.7 percent from the field during the contest, the highest field goal percentage of a KU opponent this season.
–Kansas pulled down a season-high 76 rebounds but was out-rebounded for the first time this year as Alabama recorded 80 boards.

Individual Notes
— Sophomore Keena Mays poured in a career-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 4-for-6 from beyond the arc. Her eight field goals were a career best as were her four three-pointers made.
— Junior F Carolyn Davis notched 21 points to hit the 20-point mark for the third time this year and 22nd time of her career. She was just shy of her first double-double of the year with nine rebounds.
— Davis collected her 21 tallies on a season-high nine field goals.
— Junior G Angel Goodrich finished with a season-high 12 assists for her 21st-straight game dishing five or more assists. She has led Kansas in assists in all eight games this year. Goodrich has also recorded double-digit assists three times this year and 10 times for her career.
— Goodrich added nine rebounds and two blocks during the contest, both career highs.
— Senior F Aishah Sutherland reached double figures in points for the seventh time this season turning in 15 points at Alabama.
— Sutherland also added a block to move up a spot in the KU career record list. Sutherland is now tied for fifth all-time with 113 career rejections.
