— Eastern Washington was held scoreless for the first three minutes, 10 seconds of the game.

— Post players Darnell Jackson and Darrell Arthur accounted for KU’s first 15 points.

— Jackson’s 17 points marked the fifth time this season he has scored in double figures.

— Jackson followed up his 13-rebound performance with nine Wednesday, giving him 22 boards over the last two games. It’s his best rebounding total since recording 17 in consecutive games two previous times, most recently at Missouri (six) and at Colorado (11) during the 2006-07 season.
