KU Baseball To Host Holiday Skills Camp

LAWRENCE, Kan. –

The University of Kansas baseball program is hosting a Holiday Skills Camp beginning Dec. 27 and running through Dec. 29. The camp is open to ballplayers ages 7-18 and will cover the skills of hitting, defense, base running, pitching and work with all positions.<?xml:namespace prefix=”o” ns=”urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office”?>

KU coaches Ritch Price and Kevin Frady will provide instruction as well as current professional players Ritchie Price and Don Czyz along with other former Jayhawks.

The camp will go from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., plus evening activities for overnight campers. The cost is $345 for overnight campers and $195 for day campers. Lodging at the Hampton Inn as well as three meals a day will be provided for overnight campers.

The team also has openings for its January, February and March sessions of its Hitting Academy and Sunday Night Baseball School. Both instruction schools have multiple sessions, which will meet once a week over the course of a month.
