Talib Named Second-Team All-America

Lawrence, Kan. — University of Kansas defensive back Aqib Talib was named second-team All-America by SI.com on Friday. Talib, a sophomore, finished the regular-season as the nation’s leader in passes defended as he batted down 2.80 passes per contest. The Richardson, Texas, native also ended the regular-season as the Big 12 leader with six interceptions.
