Notes

–Kansas shot 79.2 percent from the free throw line, marking the best percentage so far this season. The last time KU shot that well was in the NIT Championship versus South Florida on April 4, 2009.

–Twelve of the 13 players that saw time put at least two points on the board.

–Freshman guard Angel Goodrich dished out 10 of the Jayhawks’ 19 assists and only allowed six from UMKC. Goodrich has recorded 10 or more assists in three games this season.

–Junior center Krysten Boogaard led the Jayhawks in scoring with 19 points. Senior guard Danielle McCray finished with 18 and sophomore Aishah Sutherland netted 11. Tonight’s game marks the fourth time that three or more Jayhawks have finished in double figures in a game this season.

–Boogaard also recorded a season-high three blocks. Her previous high was two versus Oral Roberts on Nov. 15.

–Freshman guard Monica Engelman finished with a career-high eight points and a career-high 2-for-2 from behind the arc. She previously recorded five points against UCLA on Dec. 3.

–Freshman forward Carolyn Davis tallied six points, tying her career-high. She also netted six versus Northern Colorado on Dec. 6. Davis also recorded a career-high 11 minutes in the contest.
