Kansas (7-5 overall, 4-4/3rd Big 12 North) will play Minnesota (7-5 overall, 3-5/t-6th Big 10) in the 20th annual Insight Bowl in Tempe, Ariz. on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008… Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. Central (4 p.m. Mountain) and the game will be televised on the NFL Network as well as WDAF (Fox 4) in Kansas City… Kansas is playing in a bowl game in consecutive seasons for the first time in school history… KU is making its fourth bowl appearance in the last six years… KU has won four of its last five bowl games after winning just one of its first six bowl appearances.
