Williams, a freshman defender from Houston, Texas, also appeared in every match and provided the Jayhawks with some offense at the end of the season. The 5-foot-9 freshman scored three goals in KU’s final two regular season matches, including game-winners against Iowa State and Missouri. Williams became the third different KU player to enjoy a multi-goal contest in the Nov. 2 victory over the rival Tigers.

Both players were very instrumental in helping the Jayhawks win six of their final nine regular season matches and place third in the Big 12 standings.
