… Handed KU its 23rd-straight win following a loss, Kansas is now 42-6 following a loss in the Bill Self era.

–After beginning the game at an 11-4 rebound disadvantage, Kansas recovered to outrebound its opponent for the 10th-straight game, 39-29.
–KU’s defense held USC to only three points in the final 10:35 of the first half and 13 points overall in the opening frame. That’s the fewest points surrendered in a half since Florida Gulf Coast scored 13 points in the first half on Nov. 18, 2008.

–Senior G Conner Teahan tied a career-high with four three-pointers made.
–Junior G Elijah Johnson made two three-pointers on Thursday, giving him a three in every game but one (Florida Atlantic) this season.
–Johnson recorded a career-high four steals against USC.
–Junior C Jeff Withey notched his fourth-straight game with multiple blocks, and his eighth of the year.
–Junior G Travis Releford did not record a steal for the first time this season.
