Postgame Notes

–Freshman Kelly Kohn scored a season-high 23 points surpassing the 19 she scored against Santa Clara Dec. 17. The 23 points were the most by a KU player this season.

–Kohn tied her season high with five three-point field goals. She has made multiple three-point field goals in each of her last five games. Kohn has 18 three-pointers in that span.

–Kohn has scored in double figures in four of her last five games and six times this season.

–Freshman Sade Morris scored a career-high 15 points. She has scored in double figures four times this season.

–With 10 points, senior Shaquina Mosley has scored in double digits for the second time in her career, with both being this season. She had 12 points against Santa Clara on Dec. 17.

–Sophomore Marija Zinic, who had six boards in the game, has pulled down at least six rebounds in every game this season.

–Kansas used the starting lineup of freshman Kelly Kohn, sophomore Ivana Catic, junior Jamie Boyd, junior Taylor McIntosh and freshman Sade Morris for the second time this season. The other time was the 78-68 win against Santa Clara on Dec. 17.

–Kohn and McIntosh have started every game this season. McIntosh started for the 67th time (out of 69 career games) while at Kansas.

–Boyd started her second game of the season and fourth of her career.

–Kansas is 21-6 at home in non-conference play under Bonnie Henrickson.

–Kansas led at halftime for the seventh time this season. KU is 5-2 when leading at the half.

— NIU’s 82 points were the most allowed by the Jayhawks this season.

–NIU senior Stephanie Raymond’s 30 points were the most by an opponent this season.
