Notes

–Freshman LaChelda Jacobs scored a career-high 18 points and pulled down a career-high seven rebounds. It marked the fourth game this season where she scored in double figures and the second time she has pulled down five or more rebounds.

–Jacobs made two three-pointers on three attempts. Jacobs entered the game 1-for-7 from beyond the arc.

–Freshman Sade Morris has scored in double figures five times this season, including her last two games.

–Senior Shaquina Mosley has scored in double figures in each of her last two games and three times this season.

–Mosley’s six assists were a season best and two shy of her KU career high.

–Freshman Porscha Weddington’s five points and five rebounds were career highs.

–Weddington’s blocked shot was the second of the season.

–With her seven rebounds, junior Taylor McIntosh has recorded seven-plus rebounds four times this season, including two of the last three games.

–McIntosh’s two blocked shots marked her first multi-blocked shot game of the season.

–With her two three-pointers, freshman Kelly Kohn has made multiple three-point field goals in six-straight games and seven times this season.

–Following the 4:00 media timeout, KU had five freshmen on the floor to mark the first time this season there were five freshmen in the game at one time for KU.

–Kansas started four freshmen – LaChelda Jacobs, Kelly Kohn, Sade Morris, Porscha Weddington – and junior Taylor McIntosh. It marked the first time this season for this starting lineup for KU.

–Kohn and McIntosh have started every game this season. McIntosh started for the 68th time (out of 70 career games) while at Kansas.

–Weddington started her first career game, Morris her 11th game and Jacobs her second.

–Kansas’ freshman class scored 40 of KU’s 63 points.

–Kansas has held its last 350 opponents to under 100 points.
