Kansas Baseball will play its first home conference series of the season this weekend when the Jayhawks welcome the Baylor Bears to Hoglund Ballpark. Game one of the three-game series is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on Friday evening.

Kansas redshirt-junior Jalen Wilson has been named one of five finalists for the 2023 John R. Wooden Award Men’s Player of the Year. The Los Angeles Athletic Club announced the All-American Team and the five finalists Thursday evening on ESPN2.

The Kansas softball team is set to open its conference season at No. 21 Baylor, March 31-April 2. All three games at Getterman Stadium in Waco, Texas, will be streamed via Big 12 Now on ESPN+ with the March 31 game starting at 6:30 p.m. CT, the April 1 battle at 2 p.m. and the April 2 contest at noon.

Kansas hosts its first conference series this weekend when Baylor visits Hoglund Ballpark. Saturday's game time has been pushed up to a 12 p.m. CT first pitch.

In the first game at Hoglund Ballpark in three weeks, the Kansas Jayhawks defeated the Creighton Bluejays 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Sophomore Chase Jans led the Jayhawks at the plate with a multi-hit game, while junior Thaniel Trumper tossed 4.2 scoreless innings in relief.

Five-year Kansas defender Kaela Hansen has signed a professional contract with ŽFK Spartak Subotica and is actively playing with the squad in Serbia. Hansen is the 21st player in program history to play soccer professionally.

Kansas softball (18-12) took care of business posting a 6-0 shutout at Kansas City (5-25) Tuesday night at Urban Youth Academy in Kansas City.

Kansas returns to Hoglund Ballpark for the first time in three weeks on Wednesday as the Jayhawks play the Creighton Blue Jays at 3 p.m. CT. Wednesday begins a 5-game homestand for Kansas as well as a stretch of 14 of the next 18 games at home.

The Kansas Men’s Golf Team completed play at the Duck Invitational at Eugene Country Club on Tuesday and finished in seventh place in the 14-team field.
