August 12 Fall Camp Report

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The Kansas Jayhawks opened up a new week of Fall Camp on Monday, as the team held its ninth practice of Fall Camp, including its first evening practice of camp. The Jayhawks are just under three weeks away from the season-opener against Indiana State on August 31 at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium in Lawrence, Kansas.

In preparation for the 2019 season, the Jayhawks also announced the 14th annual KU Kickoff at Corinth Square to take place on Friday, August 23 at 6 p.m., with the KU Band, Spirit Squads and Big and Baby Jay in attendance. The Voice of the Jayhawks, Brian Hanni, will host the event with a lineup of speakers to include KU Alumni Association’s Heath Peterson, Chancellor Doug Girod, Director of Athletics Jeff Long and football head coach Les Miles. The celebration will feature food, music, inflatables and more.

Single game tickets for the 2019 Kansas football season are now available for purchase. Prices vary based on game and seat location. In addition to single-game tickets, Kansas Athletics is offering a Mini Plan option for Jayhawk football games. As part of the Mini Plan offer fans have the chance to purchase tickets to the Oklahoma (Oct. 5) and K-State (Nov. 2) games. Tier 1 Mini Plan tickets are available for $150, Tier 2 for $130 and Tier 3 for $99.
