HAIR-RAISING – The hair of guard Christalah Lyons stood on end as the senior drove the lane against George Mason inside Allen Fieldhouse on Wednesday, November 21.
CHRISTMAS SWEATERS – Members of the Marching Jayhawks donned Christmas sweaters to dance in the stands inside David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium during the KU game against Texas on Friday, November 23.
A MOTHER’S KISS – The hand of KU placekicker Gabriel Rui was kissed by his mother, Carolina Rui, during the Senior Day ceremony inside David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Friday, November 23.
HITTING THE DECK – Libero Allie Nelson hit the deck while digging out a shot by Oklahoma during the last game of the season, and the final game played inside the Horejsi Family Athletic Center on Saturday, November 23. Opened on September 1, 1999, the facility will be razed to make way for an expanded arena in time for the 2019 season.
