Bradford to compete for Team USA this weekend

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Two-time All-American and University of Kansas pole vault record holder, Zach Bradford, is set to compete for Team USA at the North American, Central American, & Caribbean (NACAC) Under-23 Championships in Queretaro, Mexico July 5-7.

For Bradford, who just finished his freshman year donning the Crimson and Blue, this marks his second-consecutive year as a member of Team USA as he won a silver medal in the pole vault at the IAAF World U20 Championships in Poland during the summer of 2018.

The NACAC U23 meet has been kind to KU pole vaulters over the years, as 2010 NCAA Outdoor Champion, Jordan Scott, won the event in 2010 and holds the meet record with a mark of 5.56 meters (18-2.75 ft.).

Bradford is scheduled to compete on Saturday, July 6 at 7:15 p.m. (CST).
