Bio

Dani Meyer joined the Kansas Team Health staff in July of 2019. She serves as an athletic trainer for the Women’s Rowing team.

Meyer comes to KU after spending two years at William Jewell College where she worked as Graduate Assistant while earning her Master’s of Business Administration in Healthcare Organization from the University of Saint Mary. In her first year she worked with the Football, Cross Country and Track & Field teams. During her second year, she served as the Head Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Baseball athletic trainer. While at WJC she helped coordinate pre-participation physicals, orthopedic and primary care clinics throughout the year. During her second year, she also helped act as a liaison between WJC and Liberty Hospital Sports Medicine for additional sport coverage needs regarding both PRN athletic training and team physician coverage.

Prior to William Jewell, Meyer earned her B.S. in Athletic Training with a minor in Public Health from Oregon State University in 2016.

Meyer is a native of Tigard, Oregon and currently resides in Kansas City with her husband, Chase Kearney, and their two dogs, Finely and Yadi.
