Bio

A four-year letter winner at the University of Texas, Kaitlyn Slack joined the Kansas softball support staff in the fall of 2020 as a graduate manager.

Slack enters her second season with the Jayhawks in 2021 assisting with gathering scouting information through Dartfish.tv for upcoming opponents. Slack also manages academic schedules with practice and competition dates for current student-athletes.

Prior to her journey at KU, Slack was the starting shortstop for the Texas Longhorn’s softball team. During the 2020 COVID-19 season, she was named to the Academic All-Big 12 First Team after batting .324 through 26 games with one double and one home run. She finished the 2020 shortened season scoring 10 runs, 12 RBI and two stolen bases.

A native from Liberty, Texas, Slack graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a focus in marketing and a minor in management. She is currently working towards her masters in sports management.
