Cold temperatures cancel KU softball game

LAWRENCE, Kan. – With temperatures expected to be below freezing for most of the day, Kansas softball has cancelled its second game against Iowa originally scheduled for Monday, March 13 at 4 p.m.
 
The final meeting with the Hawkeyes will not be rescheduled. The Jayhawks finished the 2017 Jayhawk Invitational with a 3-0 record and improved to 15-9 on the season.
 
Kansas returns to the diamond on Thursday, March 16, to host UMKC at 6 p.m., in the first game of the 2017 Rock Chalk Challenge. The game with the Roos will be broadcast on the Jayhawk Television Network/ESPN3 and the Jayhawk Radio Network.
