Kansas Football Flocks To Local Elementary Schools
Over the past two weeks members of the Kansas football team have hit the pavement traveling to numerous elementary schools in both the Lawrence and Kansas City communities. The players have taken part in field days and carnivals and have also spent time in classrooms. They have spoken to the students about the importance of physical fitness and have also discussed various topics, including perseverance, hard work, good sportsmanship and also who are their heroes. The Jayhawks have had an outstanding time giving back to the local communities and have especially enjoyed putting smiles on the faces of some of their biggest fans.
