Kansas-Oklahoma Football Game Scheduled For 2:30 p.m. on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will take on Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m., on Saturday, Oct. 19. The game will be televised on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2, the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.

KU’s game with Oklahoma will mark the Jayhawks’ first appearance on the ESPN family of networks or ABC in 2013. Kansas last appeared on ESPN2 on Oct. 15, 2011, also against the Sooners. The Jayhawks most recently played on ESPN on Sept. 17, 2011 in a road game at Southern Miss. KU’s most recent game on an ABC broadcast came on Nov. 28, 2009, when the Jayhawks took on Missouri in Kansas City.

Kansas will be looking to snap an eight-game losing streak to the Sooners when the two teams face off in Lawrence. KU’s last win in the series came with a 20-17 victory over OU on Oct. 4, 1997.
