Sunflower Showdown Set For 3 p.m., Kickoff

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will travel to Kansas State for the annual Sunflower Showdown and its 2014 season finale on Saturday, Nov. 29. The game, which will air on FOX Sports 1 (FS1), is slated for 3 p.m., the Big 12 Conference announced on Monday.
 
KU’s game with Kansas State will mark the Jayhawks’ sixth appearance on FS1 in 2014 as the Jayhawks have faced Texas, Oklahoma State, Baylor and TCU on the network and will take on Oklahoma on FS1 on Saturday, Nov. 22. The Kansas State game marks KU’s 10th midafternoon game of the 2014 season.
 
KU leads the all-time series with KSU, 65-41-5, including a 28-24-3 mark in games played in Manhattan. Kansas has dropped five-straight contests to Kansas State overall, including two-straight in Manhattan.
 
Prior to facing KSU, the Jayhawks head to Oklahoma for the first of back-to-back road games. Kickoff against the Sooners is set for 11 a.m., and the game can be seen on FOX Sports 1.
