Kansas-Texas game to kick at 2:30 p.m.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football will host Texas for Senior Day on Saturday, Nov. 19, with the game being designated for a 2:30 p.m., start time the Big 12 Conference office announced Sunday morning. The game will be broadcast on ABC, with a reverse mirror on ESPN2.
 
KU’s game against Texas will mark the Jayhawks’ fourth appearance in 2016 on the ABC/ESPN family of networks. KU traveled to Memphis for a game on ESPNU and also took on TCU on ESPNU. The Jayhawks faced West Virginia on ESPN2 in their most recent outing. 
 
UT leads the all-time series with KU, 13-2, including a 6-2 mark in games played in Lawrence.
 
In addition to the Texas game time, the Big 12 also designated KU’s season finale at Kansas State for one of two time slots, either 11 a.m., or 2:30 p.m., with the broadcast designation going to FOX Sports 1.
