Third-year head coach David Beaty ramped-up the intensity for the team’s seventh practice, focusing on execution and preciseness in the team’s team period.
After practice, Beaty’s message to the team echoed what Kansas volleyball head coach Ray Bechard said in his speech to the squad after last Friday’s practice, stating that if each player “contributes a little more than they consume each and every day” then the team will see positive results.
Beaty also spoke to the younger players going through their first fall practice, emphasizing that they must climb the wall they will soon be approaching mentally and physically to ensure they are ready if their name is called on Sept. 2 or at any other point in the season.
