LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas football held its 10th practice of the 2017 fall camp, with third-year head coach David Beaty leading the team through a variety of special teams drills, individual, team and 7-on-7 sessions in the two-hour workout.
At the end of practice, Beaty stressed the importance of the players taking care of their bodies, and how at this time of camp players begin to become fatigued which can potentially slow progress. Praising Associate Athletics Director of Sports Medicine, Murphy Grant, along with Grant’s staff in charge of keeping the football team healthy, Beaty let the players know how important it is for the players to listen to the trainers and do everything they can to recover after practice.
