Kansas Athletics Now on 99.3 FM and 1440 AM in Topeka

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Thanks to a four-year agreement between Jayhawk IMG Sports Network and Cumulus Topeka, the Kansas football and men’s basketball radio broadcasts will now be simulcast on both an FM and AM signal in Topeka starting with the 2014-15 season.
 
The Jayhawks will now be heard on 99.3 FM, The Eagle and 1440 AM, The Big Talker through the 2017-18 season.
 
“The Jayhawk IMG Sports Network is thrilled to add 99.3 FM, The Eagle and 1440 AM, The Big Talker in Topeka to our network family,” said Jason Booker, Executive Director of the Jayhawk IMG Sports Network, the multimedia rights partner of the University of Kansas.  “This partnership with Cumulus Topeka will allow us to expand the coverage of our Jayhawk Sports Weekly radio show and will also add an FM channel to our line-up for Kansas football and men’s basketball in the Topeka market.”     
 
In addition to the FM and AM simulcast, 1440 AM will carry Jayhawk women’s basketball broadcasts, all of the KU coaches’ shows and Jayhawk Sports Weekly.
