LAWRENCE, Kan. – Forty-six Kansas student-athletes posted perfect 4.0 grade-point averages and 219 more recorded a 3.0 GPA or higher, totaling 57 percent of students on active rosters who earned Athletic Director’s Honor Roll recognition for the 2017 fall semester. All Jayhawk student-athletes combined to post the fourth-highest all-time departmental GPA of 3.02.
The Kansas women’s golf team earned the top team GPA of the fall semester at 3.60, and a total of 10 programs achieved better than a 3.0, with the softball team reaching a program-best 3.45.
Women’s cross country (3.50), swimming & diving (3.48), soccer (3.47), men’s golf (3.39), women’s track & field (3.37), rowing (3.23), women’s basketball (3.11) and baseball (3.0) rounded out the teams that achieved a 3.0 or above for the fall semester.
