Reeb Promoted To Assistant Athletics Director, Human Resources

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Frank Reeb, director of human resources at Kansas Athletics since July 2009, has been promoted to Assistant Athletics Director, Human Resources, Athletics Director Jeff Long announced Monday.
 
At Kansas Athletics, he supervises a staff of seven human resources, payroll and administrative professionals. He is responsible for all human resources functions, including employment and recruiting, payroll, compensation and benefits, retirement plans, employee relations, and a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
 
Reeb came to Kansas Athletics after serving eight years as the director of administrative services and city clerk for the city of Lawrence, Kansas.  There he directed all human resources, risk management and city clerk activities in an eight-person department. Prior to that, Reeb held positions in the Johnson County, Kansas government, and also served as a staff attorney for the state of Kansas Department of Revenue.
 
He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served as a mission director on WC-130 aircraft investigating hurricanes, typhoons, and extra-tropical weather systems worldwide.
 
Reeb earned his bachelor’s degree from KU and his juris doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law.
