Jayhawks host Emporia State on Saturday
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to weather concerns, Kansas softball will only host Emporia State on Saturday (Sept. 28) at Arrocha Ballpark. Originally, Emporia State and Ottawa were scheduled to be traveling to Lawrence as part of a three-team round-robin for Saturday, however weather concerns have caused Ottawa to cancel their trip to Lawrence.
Kansas and Emporia State will face off at 10 a.m. and will play 10 innings weather permitting.

Through the team’s first three exhibition matches of the fall season, the Jayhawks are currently sitting at 3-0 overall. This includes wins over Seminole State (7-2), Johnson County (28-2) and Des Moines Area Community College (1-0).
Three Games Remaining
Following this weekend’s contest, Kansas will have three games remaining in their fall schedule. This includes matchups against Central Missouri (Oct. 3), Butler Community College (Oct. 8) and Wichita State (Oct. 11).
