Jayhawks set to compete in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – After back-to-back top-five finishes, the Kansas men’s golf team will compete in the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate at the UNM Championship Golf Course. The first round of the tournament will begin on Friday, Sept. 27, with the second round to follow and conclude on Saturday, Sept. 28.

The 7,555-yard, par-72 course is set to feature 15 teams, including three teams receiving votes for the NCAA top-25: BYU, San Diego State and UNLV.

"It will be a great test of golf and a good field. I’m sure New Mexico will be good on their home course. There are quality teams and we need to step it up a little bit from the last couple weeks and see if we can’t do a little better."

Head Coach Jamie Bermel

The Jayhawks are coming off a top-five finish at the Windon Memorial classic where it finished tied for fourth place on the team leaderboard. Freshman Luke Kluver finished tied for fifth place in his second outing for KU with a score of 3-under par 210.
